We’re going to have a nice Seasonal Card Sale up this weekend, lasting through Monday since it’s Labor Day. For those of you who don’t know, there are alternate artworks for some cards that are seasonally themed. These are the Seasonal Cards, and include some of the best artwork in the game. Since the card pool is drastically smaller, if you’re interested in one or more of the cards, you’ll have a much higher chance then the normal lottery to get them. Note that those last three sentences make more sense if you add the following phrase to the end of each of them: ‘in a bikini.’
Speaking of amorousness, the only seasonal cards that have never been available in the lottery before are the Valentine’s Day cards, so I’m going to add them to the card pool. That means, Girl Combat Priest, Command Doll / Violet X2, Sky Staff Sorceress, and Heierrat Mage are all going to be available in the Seasonal Lottery! Okay, let’s fill you in on the entire seasonal card pool. Key low-rarity cards that are a must have include Folrart Guardian, Assassin, Meaning of Failure, Girl Combat Priest and Rapidly Flying Apprentice. Also note the recently buffed Girl Spectre is on the list. Now, here is a list of everything that will be available in this lottery:
The Treasure in the ruins event is up!
Next week is going to be an TREASURE IN THE RUINS week, which means more treasure battles and higher rarity cards from treasure battles. Also, next Friday is the Labor Day Tournament, which is also the final qualifier for the Invitational Tournament later in the Fall.
Here’s a quick reminder that the deadline for the current Arakis’ Quest, the Characters Only Quest, is this coming Monday (8/30) at 12 noon EST. Be sure to submit your entry and resolve any issues with it by that time. Please note that I’ll be out of town this weekend, so make sure there are no errors in your entry if you haven’t yet submitted. I might not have a chance to address any errors before the deadline.

This tournament will basically be the same as the last few, although since very few people took advantage of the re-draw, I’m going to leave that off. Also, you may have noticed an interesting piece of art on the banners for this tournament, looks like a summer card we don’t have! Actually, it’s the ONLY remaining summer card for an existing card we don’t have, so that’s why we didn’t do a summer card event his year. It’s actually Lycanthrope [Echidna]. Yeah, I know, you recognized her anyway, right? Well, we’ll include her in a future Seasonal Lottery, I’m sure, but for now, let’s give out a copy to our top 3 players from each toplist just for fun, in addition to the usual prizes.
By now, everyone should have your 5 of 7 PRIZES. And… it’s time to announce our big winners!
Just a heads up, next week will be a treasure in the Ruins week starting monday. That means, a greater chance of treasure battles, and a higher rarity of cards from those treasure battles!
